The Color Seekers, The Color Collector's Way is the US debut of Canadian artist Torrie Groening's newest work at Foto Relevance, a 2018 FotoFest Participating Space. Groening's quirky still lifes often include unlikely but not impossible juxtapositions. Culled from her collection of jewel-toned glass objects and augmented by flea market finds and borrowed treasures, these beautiful still lifes create a spectrum of color. Using her skills as a Master Printer, Groening's layered compositions employ studio props, sketches, and accumulated materials with concise attention to detail.
